Taper | Touch Sensor Table Lamps, 2 pcs

A pair of E14 table lamps with a touch sensor in place of a switch, made in three shapes: post, column and teardrop. A hand anywhere on the base steps the light up or down, which is easier to find in the dark than a switch halfway along a cable.

They come in twos, so they go either side of a bed or at both ends of a sideboard, where a single lamp would leave one half of the surface in shadow. The teardrop is the softest of the three; the post and column are straighter and take up less width.

Small lamps like these do their real work last thing at night, not at dinner.
