Clasp | Stainless Steel Lunch Box

One stainless box, one lid, two wire clasps. There is nothing else to it, and that is the point. No plastic tray to warp, no silicone seal to go grey at the corners, no compartment you never use.

The body is pressed from a single sheet with rounded internal corners, so nothing collects where the sides meet the base and a sponge reaches everywhere. The two wire clasps fold up over the lid and hold it down under tension; you can feel them seat. Undo them and the lid lifts straight off.

It takes a sandwich flat, or a salad, or last night's dinner. It goes in a dishwasher without complaint, comes out of a bag looking the same as it went in, and will almost certainly outlast the bag. If you have been replacing a plastic box every year, this is the one that stops that.
