Three stone-shaped panels overlap on the wall, one of them carrying the hands, and a hidden LED strip throws light onto the plaster behind them. Switched off it is a piece of wall sculpture that happens to tell the time. Switched on in the evening, it is the light source for that side of the room.

The shapes are irregular the way river stones are. No two edges match, and nothing reads as a circle, which is what keeps it from looking like a clock with a lamp bolted on. The hands are slim and the face carries no numerals, so you read it by position rather than by hunting for digits, which is how most people read a wall clock anyway.
