Spruce | Stacking Bamboo Trivet Set

Five bamboo trivets and a turned post to keep them on. Slide them down over the post and they stack into the shape of a fir tree, which is what it looks like on a worktop between meals. Lift them off and they are five heat pads of graded size.

That is the useful part. Most trivets live in a drawer because a pile of loose boards has nowhere else to go, and a trivet in a drawer is a trivet you do not use. These have somewhere to go, and it happens to be worth looking at, so they stay out on the counter where you actually need them.

The pieces are nan bamboo, dense enough to take a cast-iron casserole without scorching through and light enough to move one-handed while the other hand is holding a pan. Two finishes: walnut, the darker stain, and natural, close to the raw colour of the bamboo.
