Around 30, depending on size. Very large eggs run slightly slower down the ramp but still feed through.

Does it fit in a fridge door?

It is narrow enough for most fridge shelves and many door shelves. Measure the depth of yours first, as door shelves vary more than main shelves do.

Do the eggs crack rolling down?

No. The slope is shallow and each egg comes to rest against the one ahead of it rather than dropping. Load them gently rather than tipping a carton in.

How do I clean it?

Empty it and wipe the ramps with a damp cloth. It is moulded plastic, so it rinses under a tap; dry it before reloading.
