Depot | Double-Sided Station Wall Clock

A clock on a bracket, readable from either side, of the kind that used to hang outside a station office or over a platform. The bracket is the whole point: it holds the clock out from the wall so it can be read down the length of a corridor rather than only from directly in front of it.

Wrought iron finished in black, with scrollwork under the arm and a finial on top. Both faces are cream with Roman numerals behind glass, which is what makes it work on a landing, in a hallway, or on a sheltered garden wall, anywhere people arrive from two directions.

It is the one clock here meant to be seen from across a space rather than glanced at up close. It reads as an object on the wall before anyone checks the time on it.
