A short black aluminium cylinder that throws light straight up the wall and straight down it, with two glowing bands running right around the body between them. Two cones on the wall, two rings on the fitting, and a dark cylinder between them that disappears after dark.

The up-and-down shape is why it works outdoors: nothing shines into a neighbour's window or into your own eyes coming up a path. It grazes the wall instead, which picks up the texture of brick or render and gives a flat surface depth it does not have in daylight. The two bands soften the fitting itself, so it reads as a lit object rather than a black shape with light coming out of the ends.

Can it go outside?

Yes, it is rated for outdoor use. Cast aluminium with a sealed body: a front door, a garden wall, a stairway, or an exposed terrace.

How is it powered?

Hard-wired to a 220-240 V supply, the standard across the EU. Outdoor fittings should be installed by an electrician.

How is this different from the Twinbeam?

Column is a round cast aluminium cylinder in matte black with two lit bands running around the body as well as the up and down beams. Twinbeam is a squared stainless steel body with no lit bands. Choose by what the wall and the door furniture already are.

How bright is 10 W?

Enough to light a doorway or a couple of metres of wall well. It is accent and wayfinding light rather than floodlighting, which is the point of the shape.

How long does delivery take?
